APC Elects New National Executives At Abuja Convention

The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has elected a new set of national executive officers during its fourth elective National Convention held at Eagle Square in Abuja on Friday, March 27.

The party National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda was returned as the Chairman, while Sen. Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru emerged as National Secretary.

The Convention Election Committee announced the emergence of the officers under a consensus arrangement.

The event was attended by prominent party leaders including President Bola Tinubu, Kashim Shettima, Godswill Akpabio and Tajudeen Abbas, alongside delegates and stakeholders from across the country.

The newly elected officials will form part of the party’s National Working Committee, which is responsible for managing the affairs of the ruling party.
