Breaking: Lagos APC ‘Shuts’ Down Local Airport
Members of the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, have on Friday, shut down the local wing of the Murtala Muhammad International Airport.
The Lagos APC members who are travelling to Abuja for the National Convention of the party, stormed the airport early this morning, dressed in the party’s uniformed material. The convention is set to take place on Friday the 27th and on Saturday the 28th of March, 2026, at the Eagles Square in Abuja.
Notable faces like the former Senate Minority Whip and member of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), Senator Ganiyu Olanrewaju Solomon; former Deputy Governor of the state, elder statesman and GAC member, Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, were sighted at the airport. The former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Honourable Sabit Adeyemi Ikuforiji; GAC member, Cardinal James Odunmbaku; Princess Adefunmilayo Tejuoso; her husband, Prince Kayode; newly elected South West Zone Organising Secretary of the party, Dr Lateef Ibirogba; APC state Publicity Secretary, Mogaji Oluseye Oladejo, was also seen at the airport by Gazelle Newsmen.
