DLA Appoints Odeyemi Campaign Council Co-Chairman, Media Head

The Democratic Leadership Alliance (DLA) has appointed the Osun State Chairman of the party, Dr. Tosin Odeyemi, as Co-Chairman and Head of Media and Publicity of its National Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Odeyemi, who also serves as the Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Osun State, was unveiled alongside other members of the National Campaign Council during its inauguration in Abuja.

Inaugurating the council, the National Chairman of the DLA, Barrister Samuel M. Memeh, charged Odeyemi and other members to approach the assignment with dedication, describing it as a crucial responsibility at a critical period in the nation’s political history.

Memeh said the DLA was determined to emerge as a major political force and take over the leadership of Nigeria in 2027, stressing that the party was committed to putting the interests and welfare of the masses at the centre of its policies.

He urged members of the council to take the party’s message and the vision of its presidential candidate to every part of the country in order to deepen awareness and mobilise Nigerians ahead of the elections.

According to him, the National Campaign Council would be responsible for monitoring the party’s campaigns nationwide and ensuring effective coordination of campaign activities across the country.

He added that members of the council would also maintain direct communication with candidates of the party at various levels to ensure that the party’s campaign objectives were effectively implemented.

Memeh expressed confidence in the capacity of the council members to deliver on their mandate, urging them to work collectively to strengthen the party’s structures and broaden its acceptance among Nigerians.

Responding, Odeyemi thanked the party leadership for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to discharge his responsibilities with commitment and diligence.

He promised to work tirelessly with other members of the council to ensure that the DLA’s programmes, policies and vision were effectively communicated to Nigerians and that the party became firmly rooted in the minds of voters ahead of the 2027 general elections.
