Osun APC Elders Declare Support For Basiru’s Re-election As National Secretary

The apex body of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Igbimo Agba Osun has thrown its weight behind the re-election of Senator Ajibola Basiru as the National Secretary of the party.

Igbimo Agba Osun in a statement signed by its Chairman, Chief Engr. Sola Akinwumi, said Basiru has demonstrated political prowess positively in all challenges phases of the party.

“The leadership of the above body herein throws its absolute and unwavering support for the re-election of one of us,Senator Surajudeen Basiru AJIBOLA as APC,National Secretary in the already slated APC National Convention.

“It is not a flattering statement to say that our Son who is currently serving our great Party APC in that capacity has demonstrated his political prowess positively in all challenging phases of our Party since he assumed the Office which has made our Party stronger,stable, focused and more broad-based this far in the history of any Ruling Party in our Nation,Nigeria.

“This position serves dual purposes as a common position of the homefront bloc in Osun State and fatherly/Elders uncompronising stand.

“I strongly implore all National Convention deligates of our Party to cast their invaluable votes for re-election and return of Sen.Dr. Surajudeen Basiru AJIBOLA as APC National Secretary in the upcoming APC National CONVENTION.

“I wish all National Convention delegates safe trips to and fro Abuja”
