Industrialist Hails Olumegbon As Rare Blessing To Ajah People
An industrialist, Aminu Sule, has described the Olumegbon of Ajah Ile and Ajah Okun, Oba Kolawole Abdul-Lateef Lawal (Akinwon IV), as a rare blessing to the people of Ajah, while commending his leadership style and commitment to community development.
Sule, who is the Bobajiro of Otun Ekiti Moba Land, gave the commendation in a statement made available to newsmen on Saturday in Lagos.
He said Oba Lawal had distinguished himself as a visionary leader, bridge-builder and compassionate father whose reign had already ushered in renewed hope, peace and development in Ajah Ile and Ajah Okun communities.
“I have known Kabiyesi for a long time, and I can boldly testify that he is a man of integrity, humility and uncommon dedication to the welfare of his people.
“He is a king who places the progress, unity and prosperity of Ajah above personal interest,” Sule said.
According to him, the monarch never treated issues of development with levity, adding that service to the people remained paramount to him at all times.
“Oba Lawal’s reign has ushered in a new dawn of purposeful leadership, community engagement and sustainable growth in the traditional domain.
“As he celebrates his first year on the throne of his forefathers, I pray this marks the beginning of a glorious and transformative era in the history of Ajah Ile, Ajah Okun and Lagos State at large,” he said.
Sule said Oba Lawal ascended the revered Olumegbon stool in 2025 and had since been credited by stakeholders with promoting unity, peace and development in the Ajah axis of Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos State.
