Politics Gives Way To Sympathy As Adeleke, Oyebamiji Exchange Pleasantries At Ajibola Basiru’s Mother’s Fidau Prayer
Politics took a back seat to sympathy and respect on Saturday as Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party, and the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), exchanged pleasantries during the Fidau prayer held in honour of the late Alhaja Sidikat Basiru, mother of the APC National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru.
The event, which attracted political leaders, traditional rulers, religious clerics and dignitaries from within and outside Osun State, provided a rare moment of cordial interaction between the two leading contenders in the August 15 governorship election as they joined others to honour the APC scribe with their presence at the event.
