Osun Decides: Davido Questions INEC Over Delay In Uploading Results
Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has questioned the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) over the delay in uploading election results to its Result Viewing (IReV) portal.
In a post on X, Davido expressed concern that results had not been uploaded to the portal as of 2:33 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2026, amid voting in the Osun State governorship election.
INEC (@inecnigeria ), it is now 2:33 p.m., yet no result has been uploaded to the IReV portal. What is the delay?
Nigerians deserve transparency and timely updates.
Addressing INEC through its official X account, the singer called for greater transparency and timely updates from the electoral commission.
“INEC, it is now 2:33 p.m., yet no result has been uploaded to the IReV portal. What is the delay? Nigerians deserve transparency and timely updates.”
The post comes as voters across Osun State participate in the governorship election to determine the next governor of the state.
The IReV portal is designed to allow members of the public to view polling-unit results electronically, providing greater transparency in the electoral process.
