YPF Celebrates Asiwaju Olatunde Badmus At 80
Members of a sociocultural group, Yoruba Progressive Forum (YPF) have joined other well-wishers to congratulate renowned elder statesman, Asiwaju Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta, Asiwaju Olatunde Badmus, on the occasion of his 80th birthday anniversary.
YPF National Coordinator, Alhaji AbdulLateef Olalekan, in a congratulatory message, he personally signed and made available to journalists in Osogbo, on Friday, described Asiwaju Badmus as a respected leader whose life has been marked by wisdom, humility and commitment to the development of society.
He said the celebrant’s contributions to humanity and community growth have continued to earn him admiration across different circles.
According to him, attaining the age of 80 in good health and honour is worthy of celebration and gratitude to God.
“As Baba clocks 80 today, we celebrate not just his age, but a life of impact, leadership and service to humanity. He has remained a father figure to many people and a source of inspiration to the younger generation,” he said.
Olalekan noted that Chief Badmus has consistently demonstrated exemplary leadership qualities and dedication to peace and community development over the years.
He prayed for more strength, sound health and long life for the octogenarian, while wishing him many more years of fulfilment and happiness.
“I pray Almighty Allah grants him more healthy and fulfilling years. May his wisdom continue to guide the younger generation and may his legacy continue to grow,” he added.
YPF coordinator also urged family members, political associates and well-wishers to celebrate the elder statesman for his lasting contributions to society and humanity.
