Owa of Ijesaland: OSCO-HEALTH, Ilesa Congratulates New King On Coronation Ceremony

-Declares Friday Lecture Free For Students
-Congratulates All Sons And Daughters Of Ijesaland
The management and staff of the Osun State College of Health Technology, Ilesa has congratulated His Imperial Majesty, the Owa Obokun Adimula of Ijesaland, Oba Clement Adesuyi Haastrup, Ajimoko III on his coronation ceremony.
This is also as the College declared Friday, the 23rd of May, a lecture free for students in honour of the coronation of the new king which is described as a remarkable milestone in the history of Ijesa kingdom.
The Provost of the College, Dr Lateef Olarewaju Raheem stated this in a congratulatory message made available to newsmen in Ilesa on Friday.
The management described Oba Clement Adesuyi Haastrup as a man of impecable character and spartan discipline noting that Ilesa and Ijesaland as a whole will witness unprecedented growth and development under his reign.
The congratulatory message reads in part, “the entire management and staff of Osun State College of Health Technology, Ilesa led by the Provost, Dr Lateef Olarewaju Raheem hereby congratulate His Imperial Majesty, the Owa Obokun Adimula of Ijesaland, Oba Clement Adesuyi Haastrup, Ajimoko III on his ascension to the throne of his forefathers.
“We are certain that Ilesa and Ijesaland as a whole will witness a complete turn around in terms of growth and development under his reign and we pray that his time as king will be peaceful and progressive for Ijesaland and Osun State as a whole.
“A big congratulations to every sons and daughters of Ijesaland both far and near on this occasion of his coronation and we pray that peace and tranquility will reign supreme under his watch”.
Declaring the coronation day a “lecture free day” for students, a statement signed by the Registrar of the College, Mr Moshood Afolabi reads, “This special day marks an important cultural milestone and the college deems it significant enough to pause academic activities in respect and honor of this traditional event.
“All students are encouraged to comport themselves and maintain orderliness throughout this period, whether on or off campus, as ambassadors of the institution”.
