Tinubu Leaves Abuja For Borno, Bauchi, Lagos
President Bola Tinubu has departed Abuja for a three-state visit to Borno, Bauchi and Lagos states ahead of the end-of-year holidays.
The President left the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at about 11:45 a.m on Saturday.
In Borno State, Tinubu is expected to commission several projects executed by the Babagana Zulum-led state government in partnership with the Federal Government.
He will also attend the wedding ceremony of Sadeeq Sheriff, son of former Borno State Governor, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, and his bride, Hadiza Kam Salem.
From Maiduguri, the President will proceed to Bauchi State to condole with the state government and the family of Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, the late Islamic scholar and leader of the Tijjaniyya Muslim Brotherhood, who died on November 27.
After the condolence visit, Tinubu will travel to Lagos, where he is expected to spend the end-of-year holidays.
