NLC Members Protest In Lagos Over ‘Nationwide’ Insecurity
Members of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Civil Society Organisations in Lagos, on Wednesday protested over the security concerns in Nigeria.
They converged at the Ikeja underbridge in Ikeja, Lagos state capital, for the protest and thereafter moved to the Lagos house of assembly, chanting solidarity songs.
Members of Joint Health Sector Unions, Nigerian Union of Teachers, National Union of Electricity Employees also joined the protest.
In Abuja, the NLC members converged at the Labour House to protest against the “degenerating security situation” across the country.
