Just In: INEC Declares PDP’s Oyekunle Winner Of Ibadan North By-election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Olufolajimi Oyekunle of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) winner of the Ibadan North Federal Constituency by-election held on Saturday.

Announcing the result at the collation centre in the early hours of Sunday, the Returning Officer, Professor Abiodun Oluwadare, said Oyekunle polled 18,404 votes to emerge victorious.

He defeated the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adewale Olatunji, who scored 8,312 votes.
