Police Arrest VeryDarkMan In Abuja

Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), a prominent Nigerian social media personality and influencer, has been arrested by the Nigerian police in Abuja.
The arrest reportedly occurred at the Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) premises.
According to his lawyer, Barrister Deji Adeyanju, VDM was taken into custody along with his friend, C Park, while his mother was left unarrested.
The arrest follows VDM’s Facebook post earlier in the day, where he expressed frustration over unexplained deductions from his mother’s account.
In the post, VDM stated that he accompanied his mother to GTBank to investigate the constant debits from her account, allegedly for loan repayments she never made.
He claimed that there had been over seven debits in the year alone and requested the bank statements to determine when the deductions started.
VDM noted that GTBank staff were cooperative, and they were working to resolve the issue.
“Myself and my mom just arrived GT-BANK to get an explanation for the constant debit from her account from gt bank in the name of loan repayments that she never took, in this year alone see the amount of time she has been debited with different amounts, we have requested her bank statements so we know when they debiting started so far in this year alone there have been more than 7 debits on loan repayments, GT BANK STAFF ARE COOPERATING, hopefully we know why they keep doing this.”
However, the circumstances surrounding VDM’s arrest currently remain unclear.
