The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has disbursed over N1 billion naira to clear 100 per cent of the tuition fees of 20,000 students from across five tertiary institutions in the country.
Patrick Sawyerr who made this disclosure while addressing newsmen on Wednesday in Abuja, said N172,388,340 billion have thus far been disbursed for the 20,000 students.
Sawyerr added that N850 million would be disbursed before the end of Wednesday to about 100 tertiary institutions for successful beneficiaries.
