NAF Airstrikes Kill 30 Terrorists In Katsina
The Nigeria Air Force (NAF) has killed 30 terrorists following airstrikes in their hideouts in the Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State.
The Director of Public Relations and Information AVM Edward Gabkwet said this yesterday.
According to him, the combat mission was undertaken the air component of Operation Hadarin Daji in the North West on Monday.
He said several terrorists loyal to notorious terrorist kingpin Babura were killed.
The military said it confirmed that Babura narrowly escaped being eliminated Gabkwet said similar airstrikes were also carried out by the Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai on the same day in Tumbun Fulani, near Lake Chad, against terrorists at a once abandoned hideout.
He said: “It has now been confirmed that air strikes undertaken by the air component of Operation Hadarin Daji in the North West have eliminated several terrorists loyal to notorious terrorist kingpin known as Babura.
“The airstrikes carried out on May 27 were conducted around Bakai, Bakarya, and Yartsintsiya bandits’ hideouts in the Kankara LGA of Katsina State.”
