Missing Osun Journalist’s Son Found After Two Months
The son of an Osun-based journalist, Peter Kehinde Odewumi, who was declared missing about two months ago has been found.
His disappearance had caused panic among his family members and concerned individuals as well-wishers prayed and circulated information about him on social media seeking information that would lead to his whereabouts.
According to a statement jointly signed by the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Osun State Council, Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu, Peter’s father, Segun Oyewumi, Chairman, State Information Chapel of NUJ, Comrade Sofiu Abdulganiyu, Secretary, State Information Chapel of Osun NUJ, Comrade Roseline Olawuni and member, State Information Chapel of Osun NUJ, Kingsley Omoyeni, Peter was found hale and hearty.
They, however, did not disclosure where , when and how Peter was found.
“We are glad to inform members of the general public that the son of an Osun based journalist, Peter Kehinde Odewumi who was declared missing about two months ago has been found hale and healthy.
“We use this medium to thank everyone who stood by the immediate family and Osun NUJ during the turbulent period, we thank all members of the fourth estate of realm for their support in ensuring that Peter returned home safely.
“Our special gratitude goes to everybody too numerous to mention who went all out to ensure that the notice about the situation went viral on all social mediums, we are indeed very grateful.Omo wa o ni sonu o”
