The President and Founder of Loveworld Incorporated (Christ Embassy), Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, has urged members of the church not to see the fire outbreak at its Oregun, Ikeja church as an accident but as part of God’s plan.

Oyakhilome in a viral video of about 1 minute 46 seconds, where he was seen clothed in a ceremonial robe with visible white shirt and red tie, said a better edifice was going to be built to the shame of the devil.

He, also, reminded the church members that they were not ordinary and should see life from a spiritual perspective.

“When something like this happens, you look at it what does God think? God just gives us an opportunity to do something about it that’s all. What are we going to do? Great, the house of God was burnt down…we will clear out the place build a better one, a more beautiful one that’s what we’re going to do. Let the devil leak his wounds, that’s it.

“We must look at life from the spiritual this is not what you call an accident, no because we are not ordinary people.
We are helped all the time he told us ‘even when you walk’, he says ‘don’t worry you wouldn’t even dash your foot against the stone’. Why? He said because he gives his angels charge concerning you. So everything that happens in your life is on plan, there’s no accident to the child of God, no.”

It was not certain where he spoke from, but reports have it that he spoke during a live Sunday service at the church’s campground in Asese, Ogun State.
Effort to reach the church media was not successful as calls and messages were not answered nor replied.

Meanwhile New Telegraph gathered at the time of this report from the church’s website that there was an ongoing service tagged: ‘Praise Night With Pastor Chris’, being streamed on Youtube. On monitoring it there were over 3000 watching aside the large number physically present. This time, the televangelist was dressed differently in a black suit and black tie, joining the choir alongside other ministers to sing.

He, however took a break to say the songs rendered were “spiritual sacrifice to God”, he mentioned the ‘Global day of prayer’, Friday 28 June to Saturday June 29, noting that the church would be fasting for the second half of the year and will be praying for all the nations of the world and their leaders likewise all churches around the world.

Stressing that “everything is orchestrated by God and on plan”, he included that the global distribution of ‘Rhapsody of Realities’ Devotional will take place on December 2 at different “offices, shops, streets, trains, buses, airplanes, prisons, the barracks, even in the mines, in the tunnels…”
