Oyo-Based Veteran Journalist, Sakin Babalola Is Dead

The immediate past Editor of Oodua News newspaper, Ibadan, Deacon Olusakin Babalola, is dead

CityMirrorNews reports that the veteran journalist died on Wednesday morning as a result of kidney related ailment.
He was aged 73.
Late Deacon Olusakin Babalola was editor of Oodua News newspaper between 2016 to 2023.
He was a former staff with the defunct Sketch newspaper and has worked with several national dailies such as Newswatch Daily, Leadership newspaper, Legit.com as well as CityMirrorNews, online news platform.
The deceased was , until his demise, the Publisher, Spheres news online based in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
He is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren.
