Onipe Installs Veteran Journalist, Yinka Kolawole As Ojomu of Ipee Land
Onipe of Ipee, Oba (Dr.) Mufutau Adebayo Lawal has installed an award winning veteran journalist, Adeyinka Sunday Kolawole as the Ojomu of Ipee Land.
The investiture took place at Onipe Palace today, Tuesday 23rd December, 2025.
In his remark the Onipe, prayed for the good reign of the new Ojomu of Ipee Land, while he enjoined the Chief to take to uphold the oath of office.
The Akogun of Ipee, Chief Samuel Ogunwuyi who moderated the programme charged the newly installed Chief Ojomu to use his wealth of experience and expertise to serve Ipee Community with utmost loyalty and commitment to the service of the town, through the palace.
The oath of office was conducted on Chief Kolawole by Chief S. O. Dara.
