NPA Director Lauds Oyetola Over Appointment Of Aragbiji, 21 Others

• Osun Ex-Speakers, Oyewoso, Akere, Others Make Education Board

Following the appointments of Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Oba Abdulrasheed Olabomi; former Osun State Speaker of House of Assembly, Professor Mojeed Alabi; foremost professor of history, Siyan Oyeweso amongst others, the Executive Director, Marine and Operations of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Olalekan Badmus, has lauded Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola.

The Federal Government also appointed 22 indigenes of Osun State to education boards across the country in various capacities.

Among those appointed include; Oba Olabomi (Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo); Dr Saka Layoonu (University of Benin); Prof Siyan Oyeweso – Federal University Lokoja); Prof Mojeed Alabi (Federal College of Education, Abeokuta); Chief Sunday Akere (Yaba College of Technology); Bade Falade (Federal. College of Education, Okenne); Rotimi Makinde (Federal Polytechnic, Offa); Bosun Oyintiloye (Federal. College of Education (Special), Oyo); ex-Speaker, Timothy Owoeye (Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo); Jamiu Olawumi (University of Benin); and Segun Fanibe (Federal Polytechnic, Ayede, Oyo).

Others include: Ajibola Famurewa ( Federal College of Education (Special), Akoka); Tunde Olatunji (Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti); Nike Omoworare (Federal University Oye- Ekiti); Dr Adebisi Obawale (University of Calabar); Prof. Sola Ajala (University of Nigeria, Nsukka); Mr Ayo Afolabi (University of Jos); Alhaja Lateefat Giwa (Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic); Lukman Bello (Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka); Nasiru Olateju (Federal University of Petroleum, Efurrum); and Yusuf Alli (the Federal University of Agric. Abeokuta).

Reacting to the development, Badmus lauded Oyetola for appointing able hands and eggheads who will use their wealth of experiences in public service to move the education of the country to greater heights.
