By Habibat Oladapo, Osogbo
The President of the Apostolic Grace Network , Apostle Lawrence Bamilaw has blamed corruption as the major cause for the exodus of youths from Nigeria.
Speaking at a press conference held at the Osun State Correspondents’ chapel , Osogbo as part of the activities for the 8th edition of the African 24hrs Marathon Praise Programme, on Wednesday, he posited that if the government tackle corruption many Nigerians abroad will surely return home as citizens are not convenient with the bills and taxes they pay in abroad.
He said: “Some people choose to stay in this country because they have no chance to leave the country and some people like us, who believed this country will be better though, it’s tough but there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
“The youths want to get a greener pasture and I can tell you also in addition that , so many youths prefer coming back to there own land.”
He further emphasized that prayers without dedication and hard-work is nothing as they must blend both work and prayers together siting example of Elon Musk who become a successful business man because of his hard-work and prayers.
