Oluwo Marks 8th Coronation Anniversary With Football Competition, Final March Holds Wednesday

The Paramount Ruler of Iwoland HIM Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, will be 8 years on throne by next Wednesday 17th January,2024.

As part of the light activities to mark his 8th coronation anniversary, Oba Akanbi has organized a soccer competition with 40 participating football clubs within Iwoland covering Iwo, Ayedire and Ola Oluwa Local Governments of Osun State.

The final match is to be played between Telu FC and Supreme Football Club. Huge compensation prizes will be won by the three most outstanding clubs.

It could be recalled that Oba Akanbi’s coronation ceremony as the Oluwo of Iwoland was held on 16th January,2016.

The competition committee is chaired by Prince T.Y Bello with Otun Mayowa as organizing secretary.
