Teachers Are Moulders Of Society – Osun Education Commissioner
-Hosts Southwest ANCPOSS Executives
Teachers have been described as the architects who has the power to shape the future generation and produce responsible individuals.
Commissioner for Education, Hon. Dipo Eluwole stated this while playing host to the Southwest executives of the All Nigeria Confederation Of Principals of Secondary Schools ( ANCPOSS) who paid him a courtesy visit.
He explained that teachers are champions in the business of education which involves a lot of attention, hence the should be adequately catered for.
While reeling out some the achievements of the governor in the area of education, Hon. Eluwole said the governor has recently approved the recruitment of five thousand teachers in the state and approved the permanent employment of 280 staff in University of Ilesha.
He called for the compulsory rendition of Yoruba in all schools in the Southwest so as to preserve the value of the values of the language.
In an address, the Southwest Chairman(ANCPOSS) Mr. Abraham Ojetunde while appreciating the state government for hosting the meeting said the support from the state government is not taken for granted.
He further Appreciated the Ministry of Education for the smooth working relationship between the Ministry and ANCOPPS
