Accreditation, Voting Begin In Rivers LG Election
Accreditation and voting have commenced at the Ikoku area, Units 14 and 15, Port Harcourt City in Rivers State, as the electorate made their way to vote en-masse for the Local Government election.

The Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) had earlier confirmed its preparedness for the election scheduled for Saturday, October 5.
Tobin Tamunotonye, RSIEC’s Commissioner for Public Affairs and Civic Education, announced that sensitive materials had been successfully distributed to various polling units.
The election process is underway, with voters actively participating in several parts of Port Harcourt.
