#EndBadGovernance: Angry Youths Barricade Roads In Edo Community
…NDLEA Operatives on Red Alert
The #EndBadGovernance in Nigeria protest on Thursday morning began in Benin City, the Edo State capital as angry youths barricaded the Upper Sakponba Road,(a slum Edo Community, where the burning of public institutions during the #EndSARS protest began)
The youth as early as 7.00 am blocked the roads playing football at the centre of the road with occasional interjection from vehicles which were promptly searched to ensure they were not carrying passengers.
At the headquarters of Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Edo State Command located at the same Upper Sakponba Road ( which was burnt down, and arms, ammunition and hard drugs catered away by hoodlums during the EndSARS protest)were stern-looking operatives of the agency in face masks, armed to the teeth and stationed strategically perhaps waiting for trouble makers.
The youths chanting “Tinubu must go”, and “We do hungry” among others said that Tinubu’s administration must end poverty and hunger or go if he does not have a solution to Nigerian problems
One of the youths, who gave his name as Osas, holding a placard with the inscription, “We de hungry”, said the hunger in the land has become unbearable.
