Breaking: AIT Chairman, Dokpesi Is Dead

Founder of Daar Communications Plc, owner of African Independent Television, AIT, High Chief (Dr) Raymond Dokpesi is dead.

In a statement by his son, Raymond Dokpesi(Jnr), he disclosed that the media mogul and politician died on Monday morning in an Abuja hospital after a brief illness.

Aged 71, High Chief Dokpesi pioneered private broadcasting in Nigeria and was until his demise a stalwart of the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP).
