JUST IN: Gov Adeleke Suspends Odetayo As OSPOLY Rector, Appoints Adeyemi
The Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has suspended the Rector of Osun State Polytechnic Iree, Dr. Tajudeen Odetayo.
The governor however announced Mr. Alabi Kehinde Adeyemi as the new acting Rector of the institution.
This was contained in a statement on Monday signed by the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Education, Mr. Muritala Jimoh.
According to the statement, Dr. Odetayo was suspended following allegations of financial recklessness, corruption, misappropriation of funds and abuse of office.
