BREAKING: Former Ekiti Deputy Governor, Bisi Egbeyemi Is Dead
The immediate past Ekiti Deputy Governor, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi is dead. He was 78.
Egbeyemi, who was a Deputy Governor of between 2018 and 2022, died around 8pm on Friday after a brief illness.
Egbeyemi’s last public appearance was on February 25, during the presidential and National Assembly election.
A close ally to Egbeyemi disclosed that the former Deputy Governor died at a private hospital in Ado- Ekiti, the state capital.
In another sad development, the oldest monarch in Delta State, Ohworode of Olomu Kingdom in Ughelli South Local Government Area, His Majesty Richard Ogbon, Ogoni-Oghoro 1, has joined his ancestors at 106 years.
The translated Ohworode who was installed as the 12th Ohworode in 1988 when he was 70 years old, was a Royal Canon and Chairman, Council of Traditional Rulers, Urhobo nation.
