Good representation: Constituents Endorse Osun Female Lawmaker For Second Term

Residents of Ayedaade/Irewole/ Isokan federal constituency have pledged their support for the reelection bid of Mrs Taiwo Oluga, saying she has been giving adequate representation in the last three and half years.

The constituents who had in their large numbers converged at the APC Party Secretariat Ikire, Irewole Local Government of Osun State posited that having satisfied with the way and manner Oluga has been representing them at the federal House of Assembly and with her track records and achievements they unanimously adopted her as their representative candidate.

They argued that if this will give them opportunity to continue to enjoy dividend of democracy in the Constituency.

Oluga who was highly elated with the large number of her constituents who had gathered as early as 8oclock in the morning to declared their support for her candidature said she was highly impressed.

The member of national assembly representing Ayedaade/Irewole/ Isokan federal constituency, said if reelected, she will not disappoint her people just as she vowed to add more better representation for her constituents.

At her official Flagg off ceremony, Oluga said having seen what she has been able to achieved during her first term as federal lawmaker, the people of Ayedaade/ Irewole/Isokan federal constituency unanimously called for her second term in office.

” I’m not the one that said I want second time but my people said carry go, if my people are saying that I should continue I don’t need to judge myself, i just want to thank them and assure them that I will do more and put more effort in satisfying my people in the giving more dividend of democracy”

“We are here to flag off this campaign, this is just an official flag off, we have been campaigning door to door, people testified to my performance in the last four years and I want to assure them of doing more if reelected”

She however, enumerated some of her achievements revolve around emoluments and various youth and women empowerment programmes.

Speaking at the event, the former commissioner for finance in the state, Hon.Bola Oyebamiji attested to the laudable performance of Hon. Oluga, saying, the lawmaker had made the constituency proud with various achievements recorded in the last four years.

Oyebamiji who is the chairman for constituency campaign committee also described the lawmaker as a great a achiever and he said brought many goodies to her constituents.
