Breaking: NNPCL,Tompolo’s Tantita Security Intercepts Massive Vessel With Stolen Crude
Tantita Security Services Limited, a private security outfit of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd, (NNPCL) has intercepted a massive vessel carrying barrels of allegedly stolen crude oil in the Escravos area of Delta state.
It was gathered on Monday that Tantita Security Services Limited is owned by a former militant leader, High Chief Oweizide Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo.
The vessel conveying the alleged stolen crude was reportedly intercepted while trying to escape with illegal crude oil from the creeks of the Niger Delta creeks.
An official of the NNPCL, who declined to be named confirmed the interception, adding that it was jointly organised by the oil company and the private security outfit.
