Osun Has Recorded Unprecedented Achievements Within 100 Days, Directors Of Agriculture Felicitate Adeleke

The Forum of Directors of Agriculture and Food Security in the Local Government Service of Osun state, felicitated with Governor, Ademola Adeleke, on his 100 days in office.

The President of the Forum, Engr. Olaleye Fakayode in a statement noted that within 100 days in office, the state has recorded unprecedented achievements especially by prioritising the welfare of workers and retirees.

The forum also commended the Governor for his various programmes and projects to ensure basic amenities in the rural and urban areas as well as providing quality health care for the people of the state.

While appreciating the Agricultural Inputs Subsidy Scheme for Farmers, the forum urged the Governor, to give more attention to Increased Food Production and Security in the state to help combat food shortage, famine and ensure growth of Cottage Industries in Osun State.

The Forum advised Governor Adeleke to engage the Agricultural Officers in the Local Government Service to pilot and collaborate with the Grassroot Farmers to ensure increased food production thereby making the State the Food Basket of the Nation.

They prayed God to give the Governor, his Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi, the Secretary to the state Government, Alhaji Teslim Igbalaye, the Chief of Staff, Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye and the Head of Service, Mr. Ayanleye Aina more divine wisdom, good health and peace of mind to steer the affairs of the state to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of the state.
