Erudite Baptist Minister Chika Ossai-Ugbah to Grace Arise Congress
In a time and generation, when mentoring, discipleship and Youth empowerment are not on the front burners, the Arise Congress a gathering of over 20, 000 young people from all walks of life is geared towards changing the narrative about Youth Inclusion and raising a new set of leaders that are focused, determine and ready to lead Nigeria and Africa to her pride of place among the comity of world leaders.
One of the prominent Guest Ministers that will be impacting the participants which is regarded as the largest gathering of young people in Africa for 2023, is the Lead Pastor of Covenant Life Baptist Church, Benin City, Nigeria, Rev. Dr. Chika Ossai.
Chikaogu, fondly called Pastor Chika holds a PhD in Adaptive Theology with specialization in New Testament exegesis. He is a United Nations-POLAC Ambassador of Peace. He has been in ministry for 25 years and is actively engaged as a teacher of the word.
Well known in Nigeria and abroad as a well-versed and dynamic Pastor, Certified Life Coach, and Therapist. Among his well-known expertise and service to the church, immediate community, country and the world are Public Speaking, Negotiation, Training, Life Coaching, Executive Coaching, Career Development Coaching, Team Building, Leadership Development, Live Events, and Product Launch Events. Surely, this is a minister with many feathers on a single cap that will fit his head.
As the Lead Pastor of Covenant Life Baptist Church, Benin City, Nigeria, he is charged with the responsibility of coordinating and spearheading programs to increase church members’ service throughout her immediate community, country, and the world.
Over the years, he has successfully provided spiritual care through visitation, counseling, and prayer, led programs such as worship, study, fellowship, and service opportunities, officiated special services such as weddings, funerals, baptisms, and nursing home services, supervised associate pastors and staff leading education, youth, pastoral care, and older adult ministry programs.
Other activities he is actively engaged in include providing spiritual care through visitation, counseling, and prayer. One of his most prominent ministries especially for young people is in the area of Mentoring as a well-versed Christian Minister, Speaker, Life Coach, Therapist, Practitioner of NeuroLinguistics Programming (NLP), and Author, the thousands of youth that will attend the Congress cannot ask for anything less.
Revd. Dr. Chika believes that there is more to life than what you can see with your physical eyes or proven by science. He is an advocate of using a mixture of Spiritual Intelligence (SI) and Energy Auditing Techniques (EAT) to shape homes, hearts, and habits.
He asserts that his mission in life and ministry is “to shape habits by shaping hearts”. He is committed to helping people tune in and tap into the powers within them to lead themselves from where they are to where they find success and happiness. This is in addition to assisting people and organisations to Discover, Define, and Design the strategy to achieve the goals they set for themselves. He is fully committed to creating a thriving community and guiding individuals transformed by the gospel.
With a successful background in Organisational Leadership, Ministry Program Development, and mission-oriented Strategic Planning, he is known as a Spiritual Leader who is dedicated to helping community members strengthen relationships with God by guiding individuals through service activities.
