Ondo State Association Of Retired Top Civil Servants, Elects New Executive Members
Prince Fioye Bajowa, a former Secretary to Ondo State Government and Head of Service (SSG/HOS) has been elected as the President of the state Association of Retired Top Civil Servants to run its affairs for the next four years.
The President and seven other members, who were elected to fill the vacant positions as outlined in the association’s constitution, were elected through Voice vote, conducted by a three-member Electoral Committee, chaired by Adedapo Akindele, Esq, Dr. A.F Adeyekun and Mrs Banke Omoleke.
Other members of the Executive are Mrs Moji Ajayi-Vice President, Mr Isaac Orimoloye-General Secretary, Mrs Bunmi Omotola-Assistant Secretary, Mrs Olufunmilayo Oni-Treasurer and Dr. Lawrence Ibukun-Financial Secretary; while Mr Bode Adebiyi becomes the Auditor and Mrs Julie Fayeun, is to serve as the Public Relations Officer-PRO/Social Secretary.
In his acceptance speech, the President, Prince Bajowa, who spoke on behalf of other elected members, expressed gratitude to his esteemed colleagues for the opportunity given them to pilot the affairs of the association for the next four years, promised to live up to expectation by coming up with innovative ideas that will add values to the lives and well-being of the members.
He added that no efforts would be spared at ensuring that the association remains actively alive and contribute its quota to the continued development of Ondo State.
While soliciting the cooperation and full support of all members of the association for the executives to be able to achieve their mandate, Prince Bajowa reaffirmed his determination to avail the state government of their wealth of experiences when the need arises as retired bureaucrats and elder statesmen/women.
