Eripa Muslim Community To turban Distinguished Sons For Their Contributions Towards Promotion Of Islam On Saturday

Chief Imam of Eripaland, Fadilatu Sheik Abdulrosheed Olabamiji Olaniyan

The Eripa Muslim Community in Boluwaduro Local Government Area of Osun, will on Saturday, February 4, 2023,  turban some indigenes and residents of the town with various Islamic titles.

The organisers, under the chairman planning committee, Mr Fatai Fadunmola, said the new leaders would he honoured for their invaluable contributions to Islam and the community and its environs.

The event, according to Fadunmola will be conducted in the presence of other members of the planning committee, including Honourable Ekundayo Mustapha (Secretary), Mr Omidiji Rasheed (Ass Secretary), Adebiyi Isiaq(Fin Sec), Gbadamosi Kazeem (Member) and Alhaji Fatai Sulaiman Adewale (Member) among others.

In a statement signed by the Chairman planing committee, Mr Famodun said that the Chief Imam of Eripaland, Fadilatu Sheik Abdulrosheed Olabamiji Olaniyan is the Chief Host.

Famodun further explained that Oba Samuel Oyediran Akinsowon ll, the Eleripa of Eripaland shall be the Royal Father of the day.

Special Guests of Honour are Alhaji Bayo Oyekanmi, Dr Lasisi Olagunju, Editor, Nigeria Tribune and Alfa Zaka Ogunwole , an Ibadan based business tycoon.

“Among the indigenes who would be turbaned are Dr Ibraheem Tunde Azeez as Aare Musulumi of Eripaland, Alhaji Durodola Jimoh Oluwabukola as Giwa Adini of Eripa, Alhaji Abdul Azeez Adeleke Raji as Baba Adini of Eripa and Alhaji Adebiyi Tajudeen Oyewole as Balogun Adini of the town.

The event which is billed to take place at Itesiwaju Hall, Eripa by 10:am prompt would be chaired by Professor Isiaq Oyefolahan from Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State.

The statement stated that Alhaji Kamilu Muhammad Jamiu would be the guest speaker at the event.

It also enjoined residents of the town and all invited guests to be at the venue before 9:30, as the program will schedule to commenced at the stipulated time.
