Project Beyond 2023 Commends Buhari For Signing Electoral Bill Into Law, Urges INEC To Do More Education
The Foremost Tinubu Support Group; Asiwaju Project Beyond 2023 has commended President Muhammodu Buhari for signing the much touted electoral bill into law, saying the law will in no small measure contributes to the electoral process of the country and ensure confidence of Nigerians in the electoral system.
In a statement released in Abuja on Saturday by its National Director, Media & Publicity, the project described President Buhari as a man of his words because he has once said he will leave the electoral process of the country better than he met it.
“President Muhammodu Buhari has again displayed an uncommon trait as a leader who determined to do us proud as a country, signing an electoral bill into law is not a big deal to some people but for us at Asiwaju Project Beyond 2023, it is a big deal because some clauses introduced into the bill to ensure use of technologies, participations of more people in the internal frameworks of party politics, that is what democracy entails and overall mechanism put in place to ensure transparency of the process will definitely in no small measure build the confidence of the electorates as regards the process” Adebayo said.
He then urged the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to engage in rigorous voters’ education among Nigerians to make them understand the reasons why they need to participate and get involved in the electoral system of the country.
Project Beyond 2023 also implore all Nigerians to get involved by collecting their PVCs.
