The Public Relations Officer of the National Centre for Technology Management (NACETEM), Isaac Oluyi, will bury his mother-in-law in grand style in Ijebu-Jesha on Friday, 28th and Saturday, 29th January, 2022.

The mother-in-law, Assistant Pastor Mrs Mojisola Elizabeth Ogundipe (née Ogundiya) transited to the great beyond on Saturday, 20th November, 2021 at Airforce Hospital, Ikeja, Lagos. In a statement released by the PRO of NACETEM, the son-in-law of the deceased, he described Mama as a lover of humanity and a genuine child of God who radiated love in all she did while here.

Mr Isaac Oluyi said Mama gave him a soft landing in marriage as she wholeheartedly welcomed him into the family making what could have otherwise been challenging very smooth for him in life. He said Mama was simply “an angel in human form “!

The Late Mrs Elizabeth Ogundipe was 76 and she was survived by children and grandchildren.

Below is Isaac Oluyi’s tribute to Mama:

Marriage naturally gives one either a father-in-law or a mother-in-law, but my case is different. I got married and marriage gave me a replica of my mother. Mummy welcomed me into the family wholeheartedly from the very first day. In fact, she gave me a soft landing in marriage. She made what could have been a challenging beginning a very smooth one for me! It’s therefore painful to the bone marrow to lose such an angel in human form to the icy hands of death at a time when we least expected. Oh, death, where is thy sting!

I will however not behave like an unbeliever giving death credit where it deserves none, as I am convinced mummy’s demise is heaven’s gain. A mother, like no other, has gone home to rest. Travel light, Mummy!
