Osun MAOS Gets Acting Executives
Members of Mass Communication Alumni of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, (MAOS), Osun State chapter have nominated Adeniyi Akinromade as the caretaker chairman to paddle the canoe of the Association for the next months
Members of the Association unanimously nominated Akinromade alongside other members of the committee at their monthly meeting held at NUJ press Centre, Osogbo, Osun State capital.
Other members of the caretaker Committee are; Leshy Michael as vice Chairman, Ogundola Folasade as the Secretary, Ismail Kolapo as the Public Relations Officer, Adewale Adegboye was nominated as the assistant secretary and Temitope Adewusi was nominated as Social Welfare officer just as Sulia Omoniyi was nominated as the Treasurer.
Speaking, the immediate past Coordinator, Sanusi Olayemi said the newly nominated caretaker Committee has been saddled with the responsibility of paddling the affairs of the Association till December when the members would elect new Executives to take over from them.
He charged the newly nominated caretakers to see their new positions as call to service.
Earlier, Mr Aderemi Adeagbo and Pastor Oludele Tunde urged the acting executives to use their position to unite the members of the association and ensure they map out strategies that would help fast-tract the growth and development of the association.
In his acceptance speech, the new acting chairman, Adeniyi Akinromade, promised to used everything within the reach of his executive team, to promote unity and bring all members of the alumni association together in peace and love, in order to sustain the growth of the association.
