Alaafin’s Death: Aragbiji Mourns, Sympathizes With Yorùbá Nation
The Eminent Monarch Oba Abdur-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi, Odundun IV, the Aragbiji of Iragbiji mourned the demise of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III who was laid to rest on Saturday 23rd April, 2022.
Oba Olabomi described the loss as an irreparable one and a loss too many to the Yorubaland. Describing the great monarch, he said, “Oba Adeyemi was a man full of wisdom, love and compassion for his people, Yorubaland and one who was every inch Royally, a repository of knowledge and inspiration to many”.
“I sympathize with the people of Oyo State and the family of Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi in particular over this great loss and pray that the Almighty God will comfort the family of the bereaved and also grant the deceased peace in the afterlife” Aragbiji said.
Lastly, HRM Aragbiji encourages both young and old across the globe to emulate the lifestyle of the late monarch and live a life of impact while still on this side of the divide.
