Outgoing NACETEM DG/CEO Hands Over To Dr John Akintayo OMIMAKINDE
The outgoing DG/CEO, Engineer Professor Okechukwu Ukwuoma, hands over the leadership of NACETEM to Dr John Akintayo OMIMAKINDE (the most Senior Director at the Agency) on Wednesday; 20th July, 2022, as directed by the Governing Board, pending the appointment of a substantive Director-General/Chief Executive Officer.
The outgoing DG whose tenure officially ends on 21st July, 2022 appreciated the Management and staff for their support throughout his reign as the Head of the Agency.
The DG had earlier met with the members of staff at the Headquarters at the Agency’s 500-seater auditorium on Tuesday, 19th July, 2022. At the meeting, he made it abundantly clear to everyone that NACETEM had made him a better person as he learned so much from all and sundry in his eight years of stewardship at the Agency.
At the end of the handover ceremony, Dr Omimakinde solicited for the cooperation of all to move the Agency a top-notch higher than where it is until such a time a substantive DG will be appointed.
