Ijesa South:109 People Empowered As Hon Ayeni Begins House To House Campaign For Oyetola

The Member of House of Representative who is representing Ijesa South Federal Consistency, Hon. Lawrence Babatunde Ayeni,has again empowered over 109 people from the axis of Ilesa west local government area of his constituency as he flagged off door to door campaign to seek for more support for Governor Gboyega Oyetola and working towards winning the July 16 Gubernitorial race in Osun.

The empowerment which has been scheduled on rotational basis to encompassing the four local government areas that make up Ijesa South Federal Consistency between two to three weeks interval reached the turn of people of Ilesa West local Government Area on Friday.

Hon.Ayeni established this on Friday at the 16th edition of Ayeni Empowerment Foundation program at his campaign office in Imo, ilesa where over hundred members of the party received different items and cash grants.

The Honorable said the distribution of equipments and cash to the people of his Constituency was in continuation of his committment to relief the people of their suffering, stressing that some members of the society have been ravaged by poverty, that the empowerment would go a long way at bringing succour to their plights.

“This is not the first time to be empowering the people, this is the 16th edition and I have promised my people that the empowerment will be taking place every three weeks till the end of my tenure.

“There are alot of poverty outside there, some of the women cannot even afford two hundred naira per day in order to feed themselves,I now decided if I should start giving two hundred to five hundred naira how many houses do I touch,that is why I have decided to put this empowerment in place for them.

“I hear people saying the economy situation of Nigeria is bad, it is not a Nigeria thing but a global phenomenal.I will continue helping the less privilege even if God calls me, my children will continue.It is a foundation and I have registered it,”the lawmaker added.

Among the items distributed were four Brand new motorcycles, two Deep Freezers, ninety four grinding machines and nine people went home with cash grant.

According to some of the beneficiaries who spoke with our correspondent Bepo Adebukola,Olalere olaoluwa,Adedayo, Elizabeth,Ojo Kemi,Olojo Margret, Fasoro Deborah ,all appreciated Hon. Lawrence Babatunde Ayeni for his support always making life meaningful for the down-trodden and prayed for God’s Continuous mercy to uphold him and his family.

The beneficiaries further said Ayeni is a God sent phylanthropist to Ijesaland and eulogised him warmly for the kind gesture.

Hon. Ayeni while addressing the beneficiaries stressed that he has already set the ball rolling in making life meaningful for the down-trodden and therefore call on more support from the people to strengthening the already set moderlities towards winning the forthcoming gubernitorial election in Osun .

The event which was graced by notable members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ilesa west axis of the party, were Elder Kunle Odeyemi,Agbadaoje APC chairman ilesa west,
Hon.Daudo Abosede,among others.

He therefore urged every member to remain calm as everyone cannot be a beneficiary at a time, saying if they want the program to continue there is a need for everyone to go to their various units and wards to start campaigning for the victory of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the July 16 Gubernitorial poll.

On his final note,he thanked all in attendance and admonished the beneficiaries not to sell the items given but to use them for the purpose they were distributed, bid them to shine their eyes from pound sterling, dollar politicians.
