Osun 2022: We Won’t Allow You To Steal Our Votes,PDP Tells APC

The Peoples Democratic party (PDP) in Ilesa axis has vowed not to allow any of their vote be stollen by the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the forthcoming Gubernitorial election in Osun.

PDP made the assertion on Friday at a campaign tour of the party’s governorship Candidate, Senator Jackson Ademola Adeleke in Ilesa East and West of the party.

The party narrated how APC stole their votes, saying preventive measures have been put in place to curtail such reoccurrence.Charging the people to be bold and encouraged them to come out enmass in the July 16 Guber poll.We would lead APC with large margin of votes,PDP assured the people.

The party Guber Candidate, Senator Jackson Ademola Adeleke in his speech applauded the past PDP administration, saying they had managed the state resources wisely through delegation of authority to the local governments which gave room for constant payment of workers salary.

Adeleke, welcomed everyone to the venue of the campaign in okesa market and isokun roundabout,told the people of the town to be calmed as there will be new beginning to everything about the state after July 16 poll.

Condemning the recently upgraded Ilesa college of education to a university, saying nothing has been done on the college site ever since governor Oyetola has made the pronouncement . Tagging it to be a political propaganda putting forward to cajole the people towards his re-election.

Promising the people of ijesaland to be calm as he would follow up the upgraded college to be metamophosized to a befitting University as work would start on it immediately he gets to power.

Assuring men and women in Atakumosa and Sabo markets of new erections in the area as what they are having now is a mere outdated planned outfit.

“Osun state college of education, ilesa was pronounced to be upgraded by the present government but the funny story of it is that nothing has been done to justify the genuity of his well cajoling announcement after some times now.

“I will urge the people to give me the necessary support to come out enmass and vote me in as their next governor, the college of education would not only be upgraded but would be given a modern structural outfit with excellent academic practice and all staff salary being paid as due”, he added.

Senator Adeleke appraised Osun teaming workers for their doggedness despite all odds of what they are passing through in the hand of APC led governments, as half salary and non payment of pensioners arrears has become a strategy to enslave them to the cold hand of poverty.

“Wipe away your tears as your salary and all your pension arrears will be paid as I become the governor of Osun State after July 16 Gubernitorial election”.

The occasion which was graced by notable party personalities across the state among who were the chairman Adeleke Campaign Organization, Prof. Adewale Oladipo,Hon. Gbenga Onigbogi, Hon. Tunji Omole, Hon. Lawal Esan, Hon. Diran Olatunji who is also contesting for Ilesa East House of Assembly as a political rival to the current Speaker of Osun House of Assembly, Right Hon. Timothy Owoeye.

Also, Adeleke deputy, and Elder Sunday Akanfe Atidade to mention but a few were part of the entourage of the governorship aspirant.

The PDP Guber Candidate condemned the state of Ilesa – Osogbo road as its portholes almost damage his body despite the quality of his car, promised to dualize the road If gets to office.

He therefore urged the people of Ilesa to be bold and stand with their votes as no one can steal his votes as they had done in 2018 Guber election.
