2023: Tinubu Group, SWAGA 23 Set For Launch In Kogi
In furtherance to the messages, crusade of hope and better Nigeria being canvased, a group loyal to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the South West Agenda for Tinubu 2023, (SWAGA 23) will be officially launched in Kogi State.
Tinubu, a leader in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), was governor of Lagos State between 1999 and 2007.
SWAGA had traveled across the South West , being the first group to be rooting for the Tinubu’s Presidential ambition before the APC National leader eventually made the public pronouncement.
According to a statement from a member of the group, Hon Rotimi Makinde, the group would be officially launched in Kogi State March 17, this year.
“In furtherance to the messages, crusade of hope and better Nigeria being canvased by a group of grassroots politicians under the aegis of South West Agenga 23, the group rooting for the candidature of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to take over from where President Mohammed Buhari would stop come May 2023.
“Swaga 23 is set for launch in Kogi state with lot of activities lined up to make it loud in its usual charismatic.
“In continuation of our Sensitization, Networking and Consultation on behalf of our Principal Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu towards the 2023 Presidential Elections, be informed that Kogi State is ready to play host to SWAGA’23 as follows:
1.Thursday 17th March 2022
a. Visit to IGALA – Atta of
Igala palace – 12pm.
b. Visit to Maigari of Lokoja –
4:00 pm.
2. Friday 18th March, 2022
a. Visit to Atta of EbiraLand
Okene Palace – 9:am.
b. Visit to Obaro Kabba- 1pm.
3. Saturday 19th March 2022 :
Inauguration of SWAGA’23
Time – 9:00am
Venue – Kafas Multi
Purpose Hall, Old Okene
