Ife South Hosts Adegboyega Oyetola Campaign Train

The Adegboyega Oyetola Campaign Council will on Friday 8th of July, 2022 round off the campaign for the reelection of Gov Adegboyega Oyetola with a visit to Ife South Local Government area of Osun State.

The visit to Ife South Local Government will be the climax of the Governor’s visit to all local governments in the state as it will be the last local government to be visited by the Campaign Council.

In a press statement from the Media and Communication Directorate of the Campaign Council, Mr Governor and his team will be received at Garage Olode where he will cut the tape of the Secretariat Complex of the Ife South West LCDA before addressing the general public and receiving members of the opposition PDP into the party at Orita GLO, Garage Olode.

The Governor and his entourage will move to the palace of Olubosin of Ifetedo where he will pay traditional homage to Obas, Baales and Iyalodes in the local government and receive royal blessings for a successful poll.
The Governor will later address artisans, market women, leaders of ethic groups, party members and members of the general public in the local government on what his administration has done in the past three and half years and what they stand to enjoy in his second term in office at Orita Merin Area, Ifetedo.
In conclusion, the Media Directorate expresses its appreciation to the entire citizenry of the state for the warm welcome accorded the Campaign Council throughout the visit to all the Thirty Local Governments and the Area Council. It also commended the party members for the mature conduct displayed throughout the period of the statewide tour which was devoid of any rancour, acrimony or disturbance of peace in the state.
“While eagerly preparing for the election in some seven days to come, the party members are hereby advised to further up their preparation for the election by intensifying door to door campaign and contacts as our ultimate goal is victory at the poll. God helping us, we will laugh last as our flagbearer Alh Gboyega Oyetola will emerge victorious for a second term in office”.
