Gunmen Invade Anambra Town, Kill Traffic Official
Gun-wielding men have reportedly invaded Ekwulobia town in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State on Tuesday morning.
An eyewitness told DAILY POST that it was not yet clear if the men are armed robbers, cultists or bandits operating in the guise of unknown gunmen as they have come to be known.
The source said an unidentified male official of the Anambra Traffic Management Agency (ATMA), who was controlling traffic at the ever-busy Ekwulobia junction was gunned down, with a bullet shattering his head from behind.
The state police command’s spokesperson, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga could not be immediately reached for comments.
