Osinbajo Rescues Accident Victims On Abuja Airport Road
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Monday stopped his convoy to rescue people who had been involved in an auto crash along the airport road on Monday morning in Abuja.
Osinbajo and his security aides were joined by other Nigerians to pull the victims from the vehicle.
Osinbajo’s spokesman Laolu Akande said the vice president was on his way to Ondo on a condolence visit and has proceeded on his trip.
Meanwhile, the Federal Road Safety Corps said that the Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, was not involved in any accident.
The Corps Public Education Officer, Mr Bisi Kazeem, said this in a press statement on Monday in Abuja.
Kazeem said that the Vice President and his security aides were joined by other Nigerians to pull the victims who were involved in an accident.
He, however, commended Osinbajo on behalf of the Corps Marshal, FRSC, Dr Boboye Oyeyemi for rescuing the victims, saying that it was a call to all that road safety was everybody’s business.
He said that nobody had died during the crash, adding that one male was injured.
He also said that the Vice President had directed the victim’s treatment on his account.
