Olatunji Greets Mrs Oyetola On Her Birthday, Describes Her As An Exceptional Advocate Of Egalitarian Society

The Chief Whip of the Osun State House of Assembly, Mr. ‘Tunde Olatunji has described the wife of the State Governor and mother of the State , Mrs Kafayat Oyetola as an exceptional and outstanding advocate of an egalitarian society built on equal opportunities for all irrespective of gender and socio-economic background.

In a message of felicitation to the Osun State first lady, the lawmaker also applauded her conviction, resilience and humility which are virtues that have sustained the first family and provided a formidable support base for her tireless spouse.
The legislator noted that Mrs Oyetola who is as unassuming as Mr Governor had demonstrated ambit of excellence in leadership, a development that earned her the trust of her colleagues, the Southern Governor’s wives who yielded the leadership of their forum to her.
The Osun Assembly Chief Whip commended the intervention of the first lady on matters relating to women and children, particularly in the area of economic empowerment, gender equality, education of the girl child and the protection of the rights of the vulnerable.
“Under her watch, the Violence Against Persons Prohibition Law, which aims at protecting our women and Children, among others became a reality and she has pursued it’s enforcement with vigour; a manifestation of the humanity in Mrs Oyetola’.
He prayed the almighty God to grant our amiable first lady good health and more strength in the pursuit of happiness for the people of the state.
