Eid El Fitri: Osun APC felicitates Muslims, Seeks Prayers For Peace, Unity

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state of Osun has felicitated with Muslim faithful in the state on the successful completion of the 2022 holy month of Ramadan and the celebration of Eid el Fitri.

The party called on Muslims in the state to use the occasion of this year’s Eid el Fitri celebration to pray for the unity, stability and peace to reign supreme in every parts of the Country.

This goodwill message was contained in a statement issued from the party’s Directorate of Publicity, Research and Strategy and signed by its Director, Barr Kunle Oyatomi, and made available to Newsmen on Saturday in Osogbo, the state capital.

The party enjoined Muslim brothers and sisters to extend the lessons of fasting period beyond the Ramadan season, and be resolute in their support for administration of Governor Gboyega Oyetola who has been assiduously working to take the state to the next level of Progressive developments.

According to the party, “It is our belief that the important lessons of Ramadan fast as one of the 5 pillars of Islam, which include personal sacrifice, self-discipline, charity and submission to the will of Allah would not cease to be part of our normal ways of life in months and years to come after Ramadan”.

Osun APC urged special citizens of the society to care for the less privileged people in their areas, adding that, “it is in giving that we also receive the gifts of life from Allah whose love is abundantly bestowed on cheerful givers”, the APC said.

“As we all know that this is election year as Osun gubernatorial election is fast approaching, Osun APC enjoined Muslim faithful as well as entire people of the state to intensify prayers for a peaceful and rancor-free conduct which will make the entire people of Osun to continuously live together in peace”.

Osun APC wishes Muslim brothers and sisters in the state and across the World Happy Eid El Fitri celebration.
