Yuletide: Aremo Felicitates With Christians In Osun, Preaches Unity, Sacrifice And Love

The Special Adviser to Governor Gboyega Oyetola on Youth and Sports, Honourable Adegboyega Adelabu Aremo, has felicitated with residents of Osun State on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebration.

Aremo in a Christmas messenge charged the Christians in the state on the lessons taught by the life and times of Jesus Christ , urging them to reflect on the basic tenets of Christianity which harkened on perseverance, faithfulness, determination and peace.

The special and Adviser on Youth and Sports said irrespective of their religious affiliations, they can draw immense strength and inspiration from the enduring legacies of life of Jesus Christ who sacrificed his life for the redemption of their souls.

“I celebrate with Christian brothers and sisters and more on this special. As we celebrate the birth of Christ, I charge you all my brothers and sisters, on the purpose of unity, for without unity, no meaningful development can find expression in any society or gathering.

“Much more, I urge us to take seriously the value of sacrifice, for the very coming of Jesus Christ to Earth at first, was borne out of God’s willingness to sacrifice His only Son to redeem humanity from the burden of sin and the penalty of death.”

“Finally, I charge us all, on the essence of love. The essence of Jesus coming to Earth was an expression of God’s love for humanity.

He however, urged the people of the state to observe COVID-19 Protocols while celebrating the Christmas.

The SA also used the festive period to urge the people of the state to continue to support and pray for Governor Gboyega Oyetola whom he said really mean well for the people of the state .

He said: “As this would be the last Christmas to be celebrated before the next gubernatorial election in Osun State, the Residents of the state should please continue to pray for the governor who really mean well for the people of the state. And they should continue to support him in order to rule the state beyond 2022
