CBCIU Director, Prof Siyan Oyeweso’s Mother Buried [Photos]

The remains of Hajia Yinyinola Oyeweso,
mother of the Executive Director, Centre for Black Culture and International Understanding, Abere, Osun State, Professor Siyan Oyeweso, were on Monday buried.

She was buried at her residence, Sekona Market Square, Ibadan road Sekona- Ede, according to Islamic rites.

Prof. Sola Akinrinade, former Uniosun V.C, Prof. Labo Popoola, incumbent V.C. Uniosun and the son of the deceased, Prof. Siyan Oyeweso at the burial of ALHAJA YINYINOLA OYEWESO.


Hajia Oyeweso, aged 92 years, died in the early hours of today, Monday August 23rd during an illness.

The Imam who led the Fidau prayers for the deceased, said the death was inevitable and urged everyone to dedicate their lives to the worship of Allah and live with the purpose of making a positive impact on others.
