COAS Attahiru, Others For Burial Today
The Nigerian Army has announced the burial proceedings of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Late Lt.-Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru and 6 other senior officers.
The deceased lost their lives in an ill-fated NAF aircraft near Kaduna International Airport on Friday.
According to a statement issued by the Director, Army Public Relations, Brig.-Gen. Mohammed Yerima, the burial arrangement has been slated for Saturday in Abuja.
Yerima said the event would commence at the National Mosque and National Christian Centre, Abuja by 10 am respectively.
Yerima added that that the internment for the late COAS and 6 other senior officers would take place at the National Military Cemetery, Abuja by 1 pm.
